Best Buy circular in today's paper had $449, or w/ 40-150 lens, case & memory $629.

I knew waiting was a good idea.

I bought mine for $444 from Beach Camera on EBay and earned $8 in eBay bucks. Living in NY means Amazon tax, B&H tax and a whole bunch more. I love NY (sometimes).

ibcj, that is the best deal going at the moment, I expect they'll be even cheaper in a month or so leading up to Christmas.

B&H also has the 449 price now. It must have been discounted by Olympus if all the vendors are selling with the same discount. Beach is just undercutting everyone else by a few bucks. Expires 11/28, or until the next discount is posted.

$419 is the new ebay low 'new in box' price - talk about a race to the bottom, I can't believe how fast the price is dropping on the e-pm1 - I'm getting tempted!

Me too. :) Very tempting camera, and the slimmest/smallest of the entire system... I think I could get used to the lesser controls (the E-PL2 has taught me that), and would use it along with my E-PL2.

    Hi Ned,

You should pick one up, I think you'll like it. Handling isn't bad. The SCP really makes things easy.
