E-PM1 Hot spot?

Discussion in 'Olympus Cameras' started by Allan Crowson, May 31, 2012.

  1. This is with the E-PM1. I noticed a bright blue (cyan?) spot in the same location on several images. I suspect that it is there on many more, but the subject matter often hides it. I finally cropped enough out that I could upload it to a gallery (I've really got to study our gallery operation more carefully!):

    (Click to see it large enough to see where I circled the spot}

    Is this a hot spot? What can one do about this sort of thing?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. Thanks, Ned. I knew they had pixel mapping in there somewhere, but had somehow assumed that it would only be for dead pixels. It's good to know it works both ways!
