with kit lens
Impressive - enjoy your new camera.
Thank you, I am really enjoying it so far.
I have an E-PM1 and it is a little gem though it does not seem to get mentioned a lot around these forums. I recently added the Oly 45mm to the kit and it really shows what the E-PM1 sensor can do. I'm sure it's not as good as the 16Mp ones, but it is pretty amazing.
The Olympus 45mm probably will be my next purchase
Well done!... but did you have to do a Ken Rockwell watch shot, lol? Nevermind if you don't get that.
The old E-PM1 can still do the job.
Here is my effort with epm1 Flickr: Konstantinos Evangelou's Photostream
Awesome kit lens shot!
Ken Rockwell? Sorry I don't read his website...know noting about that watch shot.
Kevag, beautiful pictures, thanks for posting.
A few shots with the E PM1 and the Oly 45

The E-PM1 seems like a very well built camera and the photos I have seen from it are excellent with great colors and plenty of dynamic range. You should really enjoy this camera and not worry about any small differences between it and the newer 16mp sensors.
Did you do any post processing, like through Photoshop/Lightroom?
Outstanding results from the 14-42 kit lens. The detail in that watch shot is amazing.
just a little contrast in post processing (light room)and it gives the illusion of sharper photos...that's JPEG image
