    Hi folks,
I was taking a bit of video this evening with the 14mm attached, set to IS on and CAF. Throughout most of the video there's a clicking noise in the background. What is it I'm hearing and why?
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you kindly

It might be aperture blades closing and opening. Unfortunately you can not avoid this.

Ah, I just found a thread here regarding the "woodpecker noise."
    I see it's a common issue.

    The Pany 14mm f2.5 has a firmware update to ver.1.1 on 13/9/2011.
It is suppose to reduce autofocus noise and improve HD capabilities when taking video.

I did the firmware update as soon as the lens arrived. This noise is post update.

    Try turning off IBIS?
