Someone asked for an EPM-1 video thread in the Olympus forum, so I figured I'd get one started. These videos were taken at the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas. I had originally taken them as "home videos", but recently cut together a bunch of clips in iMovie to support future articles for my new blog (Las Vegas Off Strip - The Best of the Rest of Sin City)

So my video taking skills are fairly amateur, and my video editing skills even more so. That said, I'm pretty pleased with the results. I am especially stoked at the sound quality I'm able to achieve using the SEMA-1 and a good external mic. I wish I had level control, but the setup I had never peaked out, even at front of stage sound levels, so that's good enough for me. Comments and constructive criticism welcome. :)

Mojo Risin: Doors Tribute (Outdoors, night, lit stage. Shot with 20mm in AF [I have since learned not use AF in video] and SEMA-1 with external mics)

The Spazmatics: Nerds Rock! (Outdoors, night, lit stage. Shot with 14mm in MF and SEMA-1 with external mics)

The other videos on my channel are also from the E-PM-1, with the exception of the Alice and Ozzy's Frightmare video - that was shot with a Canon SD1000. What a difference the u43 makes!
