My new toy arrived so I've been playing with it the last 2 days. I put the Lumix 100-300 on it today and got these ducks. Overall I'm really pleased, the quality is just as good as the G3 but the focus hit rate with the E-PL3 is much higher with this lens surprisingly.

Light was bad so to keep shutter speed up I used auto ISO and it was varying between 1600 and 12800.

All RAW and processed in LR3.5

    Comments welcome.

These are amazing! Did you do any special noise reduction? ...I didn't think the 3 series' high iso performance was much improved, but I certainly could have been wrong!

Thanks for sharing! Do you have any links to larger versions? And as with ssgreenley, please share any processing approaches.

This is an example of what Ned has been saying: that just because it's the original 12mp sensor (or a tweaked version of same) in the 3-series cameras, that doesn't mean Oly's imaging processing has stood still.

You can see some loss of detail in the feathers in the ISO 6400 shot - but it's still not bad. And the ISO 3200 shot is just fine.
