Went to a nearby state park today for a hike here in the Northeast... weather is ridiculously humid and non-typical for early May! Anyhow, Experimented a bit with the camera in "A" mode today. These are my favorite captures, each has been tweaked a bit via Photoshop... Definitely realizing how much there is to learn, and I struggled with the lighting for sure. Any C&C are definitely welcome!

And last... came across this guy...

Great shots tpitch:thumbup: I really like the fifth one down with the moss covered rock and the stream. Very relaxing...... The second one down looks interesting. I'm guessing you must have done something to the stone wall with Photoshop?
The last one sends shivers down my spine though!!! My house is currently home to a family of poisonous centipedes called Mukade:crying: (just Google the word). I bumped into three of them one day last week....

Looking forward to your next post:wink:

Is that Ridley Creek? The mansion makes me think it might be. Nice stuff, particularly the first one, but I'm a sucker for doors and windows and passageways - always a bit mysterious. Not sure how I missed it the first time around...

Thanks! Yes, it is Ridley Creek... Steve, I'm new to PP, so I don't know much about adjusting images. I just changed the brightness and contrast a bit in photoshop in all the photos. And I looked up the Mukade- yikes! What a terrible housemate!
