    Hello Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone knew what Easy Setup Setting I can use with the E-PL1 and Final Cut Pro to remove the need for rendering in the timeline?
    Thanks in advance!

As far as I know there isn't an easy set up that will do away with rendering.

The common solution is to convert the footage to the Prores format in Compressor and then edit that.

As we are expecting Final Cut X sometime this month, and they have indicated that will be able to transcode on import to a format that Final cut can edit in realtime we will have to wait and see.

In the meantime I have been doing some experiments with E-P1 footage, and once I have worked out a good workflow I will share it

I posted a little movie I did with the E-P1 and edited on Final cut on this thread

    Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your reply - fingers crossed for Final Cut X doing away with render-waiting!
P.S. Your video was really good, well shot and fun to watch!
