Bill, thanks - the first one was with the Grainy Art Filter. The second one I converted with Aperture to black and white.

Yes, Keehotee - I like the way you took yours, too - and it's perfect in black and white!:thumbup:

I have a number of black and white conversions. Most of them are on my Flickr pages, not in here. I find that lately for some reason, I'm more drawn to black and white. I would love to add the Silver Efex plug in but it's not currently fully integrated to Aperture 3. I do have a couple of "presets" on Aperture that try to replicate different types of black and white film..I use them but then do a little tweaking. Now that I've told you more than you'd ever wish to know.:biggrin:

This has a lovely tone very nice shot, reminds me of my film days with filters

A few from Saturday morning's walk

Just walking around town with my dog, early Saturday morning. All taken with the 17mm. All converted in Aperture 3 using B&W film presets and very minimal tweaking beyond that.
