Bill, thanks - the first one was with the Grainy Art Filter. The second one I converted with Aperture to black and white.

Yes, Keehotee - I like the way you took yours, too - and it's perfect in black and white!

Here is another one I have...might as well post it, eh?

I have a number of black and white conversions. Most of them are on my Flickr pages, not in here. I find that lately for some reason, I'm more drawn to black and white. I would love to add the Silver Efex plug in but it's not currently fully integrated to Aperture 3. I do have a couple of "presets" on Aperture that try to replicate different types of black and white film..I use them but then do a little tweaking. Now that I've told you more than you'd ever wish to know.

Went for a ride today to am old Thule (ancient Inuit) site where some locale elders built a sod house like the Thule people used live in.

A few from Saturday morning's walk

Just walking around town with my dog, early Saturday morning. All taken with the 17mm. All converted in Aperture 3 using B&W film presets and very minimal tweaking beyond that.
