I'am going to use this combo I hope, but I noticed there is no switch for the OIS on the lens.Do I use the lens is option or turn off the ibis in the camera? I hate to loose the 5 axis ibis in the camera. Thanks for any help you can provide.I will return the lens if I can't use in camera ibis.

I may have found an answer thru further research it appears that the panny ois automatically shuts off when used on an Olympus am I getting that right? Thanks.

I don't know this to be correct - but what I believe is - IF you have the most recent Olympus firmware - you can select between lens and body stabilization priority in the camera's menus.

That is very interesting,i just noticed in the menu the little gear symbol, that there is a setting called Lens I.S. Priority, that shuts off the ibis that's what I don't want,so I'm guessing if I leave it off then the ibis in my ep5 should work,do you folks agree.

Yes, pretty sure that setting toggles between Lens I.S. Priority and Body I.S. Priority. At that point, you can turn stabilization on or off in a different place, and whichever priority you set in this location will be the type of Stabilization you get. Lens or Body.

    The 45 - 175 is a great lens
Very sharp with great colours and supremely compact - a good match for the E-P5
    Regards
