I ordered this a few days ago when it was $349 and I just got off the phone with Adorama to get a price adjustment.... I'm being credited the $50 difference... awesomeness.... and Im waiting for it to be delivered as we speak.... I really think this is a great deal..... which it was when it was priced $349.....

If you bought it at $349 like I did (or at any price in the last 30 days), give them a call. They will give you a store credit for the difference.

I think the $299 deal was supposed to run until midnight tonight, June 27. I ordered this camera from Adorama at either $379 or $349. But I sent it back because I didn't think I'd use it enough given my other gear. But $299 does have my attention and they toss in the Olympus bag as well. It's possible the price will drop enough for me to order it again. At $199 I'd jump at it in a second - in either black or silver - Even if it was the body only.

There seems to be a massive sell-off on 12 MP stuff lately so I suspect that if you wait it will hit $200.

That was a quick sale, back up to $349. I suspect over the next few months it will drop back down.

I'm sure it will. I'm waiting for the $199 mark before pulling the trigger again. With my luck, they'll sell out before then.

even if it does hit $199 like the GX1 and the GF3, I'm happy with this kit for what I paid for it... Like I said in an earlier post, given that it was once $899 MSRP, it's a steal.....

Was your $299 Ep3 "new" or "open box/return"

I was wondering if the the EP3 you got from Adorama for $299 was brand new or some kind of open box/return? Very good deal on a nice cam. Sorry I missed it.

Brand spankin new..... I mean for $299 you'd probably expect a demo or refurb but nope... absolutely brand new... Even the box was in great condition given that it's been on a shelf for about a year.... I mean, just a guesstimate....

Now the price has been reduced to $329 and the 40-150 offered at $ 149. Very tempting indeed.

And, unless I'm mistaken, it looks like they're out of the silver model. Only black versions are still listed. If people are seriously interested in acquiring a brand-new E-P3, they should probably jump on this deal.

I've mentioned this before - try calling and talking to a sales person on the phone, "Someone I know picked this up for $299 hours ago but your website is now showing $349 (or $329). Any chance you can match the $299 price?" The sales folks have discretion and can usually match a recent price on their own website.

not to thread cap, but is the P3 even worth 300 these days? the NEX 3n is running around 350 with it's pan cake 16-50mm. the Samsung NX100 is running at 200 with it's pancake 20-50. Canon EOS-M with it's 22mm pancake is running at 300 also.

Not saying those camera are better, but the P3 12MP sensor is getting long in the tooth, the NX100 is similar in performance but the control and dials are so much better (although non of these have IBIS). NEX 3n is very compact, and a nice sensor to boot, horrible controls though, the canon has the nice 18MP from the 60D, it's not bad at all with the 22mm pancake.

I'm not saying 300 isn't a good price, I'm just saying 300 might not be the type of price where I want to make an effort to call and buy one :).
