E-P1 pull-apart

    So I haven't had much luck looking for a guide on the web about this.
    Thinking about replacing my hot-mirror with something more-spectrum.

    Does anyone have any leads or experience about this?

    I am about ready to pull my E-P1 apart also, although for a different reason. I want to take out the clunker that emulates the shutter sound!!!

    That'd be the shutter. You might want to leave that in there.... :wink:

    Yeah, the shutter is required for CMOS sensors. I think Panasonic is working on a global electronic shutter.

    I'll take your word for it. I guess that would be another reason to buy a Panasonic body.
