E-P1 pretends it's a Hasselblad 500c or TLR

Not quite a classical 6 x 6, but it's great to use the E-P1 on 6x6 aspect ratio for portraits. All images of my sons, mother and sister shot on Christmas Day with the 14-42mm kit zoom lens; lighting from an Olympus FL-50 unit bounced off the ceiling.

I love square format.....nice family shots. They're clearly having a good time.

Geeze, it's almost as good as a Blad but just about $15,000.00 less.
Looking good....Penn would be an admirer....

    Thanks!

Streetshooter, you made my year (just in time)! Thanks a bunch--though Mr. Penn would probably have suggested a white background.

The background, that's why he would admire your images...
Mapplethorpe did some great work with dark backgrounds...
    Enjoy...besides you share a name with Penn/Pen....

    Hi -

Thanks for posting this. I had totally, totally forgotten that the EP1 had this. Loved my 6x6 cameras (Yashica-D, Mamiya-66 TLR, and 500 ELM...the latter leased). It can do wonders for composition...
