E-P1 body case issue...

    The bottom of my camera not only flexes/jiggles when mounted on a tripod with my 105mm Nikkor, one of the assembly screws actually pulled through the metal and the whole piece bent away from the body. I was able to straighten the piece but the camera is now "branded" sigh.

    Anyone else experience anything similar?

    Bruce, I'm sorry that no one replied to your thread here. I'm afraid I haven't had the opportunity to use a tripod too often, but I hope someone else who uses one often can report in on their experiences.

    I know how some tripods can be a little rough on these cameras.

    so sorry to hear that. i can test on my ep2 and see if theres a similar risk. will keep you posted.

    I have been using a arca awiss style plate on mine with no problems.... it evens out the tension & weight.
