Yeah, thats the problem with buying new cameras and technology. Early adopters get screwed on the price. Thats a 250 price difference from what I paid for it. I just got mine 4 months ago, too. I guess I could have waited, but then I would have lost all the lovely Christmas shots I got.

Heck, Costco dropped the price $100 since last week when it first went on sale which was already $100 from their regular price. I just got my last-week purchase adjusted this morning.

yeah, i'm returning the E-P2 due to me really not needing the EVF, but i don'y know which cam to get now. E-P1 for $499 or E-PL1 for $549. Tough call..
