E-M5 Video IBIS Noise w/ SEMA-1 Adapter

    Using the SEMA-1 Adapter during video rec. produced a disturbing result...

    When using the on-board MIC, which is actually really good, there is almost no pick up of the IBIS noise...

    When attaching the SEMA-1 adapter (which is not hot-swappable BTW) AND the Microphone is attached directly, there is a lot of noise pick up.... Video is almost unusable...

    Thankfully, when using the extender cable, which moves the Microphone off the body, the noise disappears again...

    This was just a FYI, but at least you guys will know before rec something important :biggrin:

    Yes, that little ME51S mic that's included in the SEMA-1 kit is very sensitive.
