Here’s a puzzler:

Using my beloved E-M10ii with a SanDisk Extreme 90MB/s 32GB card. Shooting RAW & jpeg. Switched to Art mode, took a couple of pics using the dramatic tone and vintage filters then decided to try the key line filter.

Took the shot, saw the writing to disk icon then the screens went blank, the shutter appeared to fire again then I got the vintage filter look when the screen came back on and there was no key line image recorded. Weird!

My guesses would be:

1. Camera is dying (pause while I have a bit of a weep)
2. Key line creates large files and the card writing took so long it timed out somehow? But why the second shutter?
3. Card dying? But why the second shutter?

Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what it could be? Some reassurance that I don’t need a new camera would be great!

Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Steve
