I just picked up a refurbed E-M10. Back dial (closest to EVF) seems very wobbly to me, and turns almost freely (no clicks). Seems like it is "ready to fail". I've owned three E-M5s, the camera with the dials that "easily" fall off, and never had an issue or perceived any reason for concern.

I'm wondering what others have to say about the dial tightness on the E-M10. Is my camera normal, or is there reason for concern?

I have to say that I had relatively high expectations based on reading user comments about the 10 with regard to build quality vs the 5. Yeah, the buttons aren't mushy like on the 5, but other than that this camera feels cheap compared to my old E-M5. Can't say I recall reading anyone else saying that.

    Thanks for any comments.

It should feel exactly the same as the front dial.

A properly functioning rear dial should not wobble, and should have distinct dedents when rotating.

MY rear dial has a very small wobble . But it definitely has a distinct click when rotating.
If it does not feel right. You said it, " Back to Olympus "
