    Very first out-of-box impression...........Ooooo there's lovely, an E-M5 on steroids.

    But Oh that strap, it stays in the box, would'nt be seen dead with that around me neck

    Congrats on your E-M1…I also received mine today. I have not used the M5 before, or any micro 3rds camera, so this is totally new. A learning curve for me, I look forward to learning from people here. Enjoy your camera.

    Congrats! I got mine yesterday too. I agree re the strap, its horrible! Mine will stay in the box.

    I'm embarrassed to say but it took me ages to work out why I couldn't get the camera out of MF to AF - bloody pull back/fwd ring on the lens! So used to Canons that this escaped me - love google! :redface:

    Trading up from an EM5 is a big advantage in understanding the camera, thankfully all/most settings are straight read across.

    Same here. Love the camera, don't like the strap that comes with it :smile:.
