Hi All,
Newbie to the forum, but an E-M1 user since 2015.
55k shutter actuations and well out of warranty, but going well until......
I recently dropped my beloved E-M1 Mk1 and the LCD screen is cracked - I've got a replacement screen on the way, but I can't seem to work out how to remove the existing one, particularly with respect to the ribbon cable and the plastic frame.
Any tips or assistance would be appreciated from anyone who has done this themselves.
Cheers
Marc

Thanks Barry - its somewhat useful,
The video shows connector which can be undone quite easily, but in the E-M1.1 the connector attaching the ribbon cable appears to be different and has a plastic sleeve instead which appears to be fixed.

Hmm - did you find a solution to this? I assumed the E-m5 video would be useful too, especially as the inside of the 5 is almost identical to the inside of my E-M10.

I'm sat here with a new screen for my E-M1, looking at exactly the same thing as in your picture. It *looks* to be plastic-welded together. Did you find an (easy and non-destructive) way in?
