brand new owner of an E-M1 Mk II. I have set up the second SD card as backup, shooting RAW only.

When I connect to Lightroom in MTP mode it will show me all the new files, but without any thumbnails. This does not allow me to select the images I want to import.
Is there a way to fix this?

I do not want to use disk mode, as this will show me two slots _and_ requires me to eject before disconnecting. I also do not want to pull out the cards ;)

    Did you try Storage?

Hi Clint, as I wrote: disk mode does it, but I'd rather use MTP as it does not require me to eject two (!) disks manually. Also, MTP with any other camera shows previews just fine.

Assuming you only read from the cards and don't write to them or delete files on them, you don't need to eject them.

I do - they remain as Zombies in LR Import and they create annoying popups.

My question is why MTP does not show thumbnails in LR for the E--M1 Mark II, but it does for every other camera I tried. If I wanted to use disk mode I wouldn't have bothered asking...
