E-M1 IBIS taking long to deactivate (longer than E-M5)

I don't think I saw a thread about this. On the E-M1 when you half press and let go, IBIS stays on for about a second. On the E-M5 it nearly instantly stops. Have you noticed this and were you able to change this using any combination of settings? This looks useful (i.e. IBIS on when you accidentally let go), but I think it uses up more battery in the end, I think it would be good to be able to control this. Could this have anything to do with the low shutter lag setting? I don't have the camera on me to test.

The E-P5 also has the same delay turning off its IBIS.
