Dynamic Range of EM-1 comperable to Nikon D4s?!

I was surprised how good the dynamic range of the EM-1 is compared to the Beastly Nikon D4s.

Just select Olympus EM-1 on the drop-down to add it to the curve chart.
Recent Sony sensors have been pretty darn good in terms of dynamic range. That said, DPR is testing JPEGs, which means you've already lost much of the DR that the sensors are capable of.

Personally, I think DR is more important than high ISO noise (at least for me). It was one of things that swung me away from a Canon 5d mk ii to the E-M5. I've got an E-M1 winging its way to me and that seems a little better than the E-M5 :smile:.
