Release 7.5 (free upgrade for V7 users) just announced. According to http://www.dxo.com/intl/photo/dxo_optics_pro/for_your_equipment , they plan to support the OM-D in August. About a dozen lenses are available (but not the 45mm )
DxO V7.5 faster on 64-bit Just tested it on my Win7 PC (Intel i5-2500, 4 cores) and it is quite a bit faster. 11 D7000 NEF files - albeit with no heavy changes, just light editing and the DxO automatic corrections - in 37 seconds. (I let it use 4 threads). Definitely worth updating if you have a 64-bit CPU.
A bit dated thread, but wasn't sure this request merited its own thread: there are five important extant lenses, and two near term forthcoming ones, for which there are no current or scheduled DxO Optics Pro modules for any m43 body: Panasonic Lumix G Fisheye 8mm F3.5 Panasonic Lumix G 14mm F2.5 ASPH Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm F2.8 Macro Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm F2.8 ASPH Power OIS Panasonic Lumix G Vario HD 14-140mm F4-5.8 OIS Olympus Body cap lens 15mm F8.0 Panasonic Lumix G X 35-100mm F2.8 DxO OP revolves around automated lens corrections using downloaded modules, so module availability is important for those who want to use DxO for automated workflow. This is particularly true for those using Panasonic lenses on Olympus bodies, as otherwise there doesn't seem to be a good solution in DxO for lateral chromatic aberration (only "manual" global fringe suppression). DxO has a suggestion form for body-lens combinations here: DxO Optics Modules suggestion form I recommend current or prospective DxO users that want any of the above lenses to be supported consider adding their voice to mine.
Sanpaku, DxO have been considerably quicker to support new lenses lately. I talked to them at Photokina and I believe they will be fairly responsive to m43 in the future. They gave me the impression that they have realized how widespread m43 has become. Maybe this is wishful thinking, but their coverage of m43 is infinitely better than a year ago, or even 6months. _________________________________ OM-D E-M5, Samyang 7.5, O9-18, P20, O40-150, O45, Fuji X100, Hadley small: enthusiastic beginner!
