I've often wondered about how valid DxO scores are in the real world, but I never doubted their competence and accuracy in testing what they test - Until now, that is.

    Here's a comparison of the PL15mm on 3 different m4/3 cameras.

GX7 has 5 P-Mpix and GM1 has 11 P-Mpix for sharpness? GX7 is only resolving 45% the detail with the same lens as the GM1? Do they even read the numbers before they type them in? Even the old E-P3 has 7 on their scale (which still seems a bit low given 12 vs 16MP is not much).

And A different' T-stop on the GX7, too (1/3 stop slower)? How is that even possible.

There's a known anomaly with the GX7. They tested it again after the initial test showed such low resolution numbers, but got the same results. I'm guessing it has something to do with the in-body stabilization. Or it could also be shutter shock from the new mechanical shutter.
I just use the GM1 as a placeholder since they both have the same sensor. I have both cameras myself, and can confirm that the image quality is the same.
