https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/owl-world-1-st-drop-in-filter-adapter Has anyone seen this yet? I'm not an expert but isn't flange distance and no electrical contacts going to be a problem for this thing?
If someone made something like that that took 4/3 lenses and had full pass through control like the MMF-3, I'd buy one.
Ditto here OzRay. It's a great idea in general and most cameras/lens systems should have something like this so we can use filters between the lens and sensor. The only time it doesn't make sense is normally for circular polarizers and variable NDs. I could still see using a graduated ND on this and the just rotating for effect. Realistically, camera body makers should make one to fit on top of the sensor, that would be awesome.
One question how does it effect infinity focus as it looks like its going to act as an extension tube as there appear to be no optics built in. Or is it just for converting FF lenses.
