Hull docks... when I started work in the early 60's I served my apprenticeship on the docks, Every male member of my family worked on the docks, my grandfather, father, brother, uncles (3) and cousins(4). In those days they employed over 40,000 workers.
Some have been filled in and shopping centres built over them, only 3 remain, this is one of them William Wright dock.
All taken from public viewing areas, and now in the process of applying for a permit to actually get on the docks for a personel project
    All taken with GX1 p14-45mm

Some big boys toys, with toy effect in PP

    crititiism welcome

Ah, heavy metal! You and Brady (iconindustries) should trade notes.
    Some great colors there.

I like most of these (the tugs are a little boring for me), but the tilt-shift-effect focus modification (making the images look like toys) is great! Well done!

Nice set. I hope you get the go ahead for your project. Similar story here in Grimsby - limited access and security on you as soon as you reveal a camera, Probably why you do not see many pictures of the docks.
