    I did not build this, just found it.

    I have not verified the accuracy of what is being output, as far as the numbers, but at face value it appears to be a good learning/teaching tool for those looking to understand the relationship between focus distance, aperture and background distance.

    Even if not, it can give someone a relative idea of the concept. I've got someone I am mentoring at the moment and we are just starting to cover this kind of thing. I'm going to introduce it to them and see if it helps them grasp the concept faster than discussion and sample images alone.

    well, I'm definitely in the learner category and 10 minutes playing around with that helped more than hours of mind numbing reading and diagrams.
    A visual learning tool for a visual art form.
