Does the E-M5 II high res mode work with fisheyes?

Does anybody with an E-M5 II tried using their fisheye in high res mode? I was wondering if it can still properly stitch an image using the high res mode due to the distortion. Thanks for any feedback!

Unlike traditional photo stitching, it's the sensor that does the moving and shoots each piece of the scene. So even with a lens with heavy distortion like a fisheye, it will still render the image at high resolution.
