Panasonic bodies have Pre-AF option, which enables the camera to hunt for focus regardless of whether the focus mode is set at AF-S or AF-C. I'm really curious. With the Pre-AF turned on, the camera behaves like it's in the AF-C mode, even with a non-AF-C lens like 20mm/1.7. In the movie movie mode, again, the camera continuously seeks focus even with a non-AF-C lens. So, is there any point of having a AF-C lens outside of burst shooting? It looks like it matters only if you are burst-shooting.
