    I have no problem taking photos while driving, the thing is to get your priorities right. It's taking photos while driving NOT driving while taking photos. So getting a better shot isn't very likely.

    Using a viewfinder is out of the question & in most cases I'd consider even the live-view screen too distracting. Framing is a matter of pointing the camera in the right general direction (something I happen to be reasonably good at) and cropping /straightening later.

    It's hard to frame a shot driving, there really is nothing wrong with pulling over though. My favorite shot from Seattle (a sunset over pike place), which is my Facebook header, I got by sticking my camera out of the window while waiting for a red light.
