What intrigues me is that each of these companies is not a typical lens or camera maker as such, but producers and integrators of imaging equipment. I can see them taking something like the Olympus Air and going places with it, or making their own specialised versions, mount, and maybe lenses. Things like specialised units for spectral imaging, microscopy, or maybe even a m4/3 DJI UAV!

I just posted the same, as I missed your post. I think that the more that come on board, the more the Four Thirds system strength grows. I wonder what Thom Hogan thinks about that?

Hmm, I own a DJI Phantom II drone, and while it's cool to fly, I was disappointed in the quality of the images. I was hoping for a way to hang my m43 camera off the drone and control it wirelessly. Given the new Olympus Air camera kit, I now expect DJI to provide an integrated solution for a flying m43 camera. :)

I'm hoping for more sharp lenses.
