I just got my first FD (50mm 1.8 S.C) lense (to try out) and adapter from ebay and everything seems to work fine exept that its hard to focus on low aperture (1.8-2.8) on, for example an eye, when i am taking a portrait. Can you get the digital zoom, like you have when using manual focus on the native lenses, on the FD lenses? It would help a lot when your trying to find the "uhmmfff" spot :)

G1 has the electronic zoom built in while you zoom press on the left button on the pad with WB ISO etc.. . This will show you the little square in the middle of your viewfinder now by pressing on the OK button you enlarge the area within the little square.
