I just bought two similar ones from Amazon at about twice the price (one as a gift, one for me). Wish I'd seen this first...

Does it plug directly into the camera? Can it be used as a simple shutter release as well?

I just got mine today. I'm pretty impressed so far.

Yes, it plugs directly into the camera and can be used as a manual shutter release as well as a timer. The manual release works even without the batteries.

Warning, it works with the E-PL2 but not the E-PL1. Also, be careful to get the cable plug pushed in all the way.

    Hi rramesh,

Just want to check - are you happy with the remote so far?

    Thanks!

    Neewer model

I purchased one it had Neewer name on it. I have an EPL3 and it
did not work and I returned it. Wondering if anyone has tried this on a EPL3?
I know it's the same RM-UC1 just would like to know if anyone has
    tried it.
    There is a wireless here

Looks nice and a good price but I'm worried it won't work on a EPL3. Anyone tried it by chance?
    Thanks

Item removed - do you have a picture of it or a link to the same item on ebay from another seller? Cheers.
