Digital Camera Inventor Died this month

    Willard S. Boyle, the inventor of the CCD, died May 7, in Wallace Canada.

    Mr Boyle, who won the Nobel Prize for Physics, with George Smith (for their invention), was 86 years old. An obituary can be read in the LA Times.
