I'm looking through the 'Other Side of the Lens' challenge and it got me wondering. This is probably a very stupid question, but how does depth of field work in a self portrait using a mirror? I just can't get my brain around it at all.

The image is virtual, but it represents a focus target as well as a real object so the DOF will apply exactly the same as in the case of someone photographying you with your camera from a distance double as your distance from the mirror.
