Last few days it's been snowing. Our first real snow of the year. This evening I went to check the mail and noticed the light & snow was interesting & so grabbed my E-PL1 with my O17/2.8 mounted on it. I took a number of images and learned a bit about the limits of the E-PL1 at high iso - 1/15th, f/2.8, ISO3200. Still I got one I was very happy with. I'm not big on winter or the holiday season, but there are moments. This was one of them.

Beautiful! I love winter, love the snow. This just looks like home, warm and welcoming.

Thank you folks. For it (E-PL1) being probably the weakest of the line at high ISO it came out nice. The noise suits the color just fine for my tastes. If I'd been thinking I should have popped up the SCP and took another in monochrome but it was cold and I was pretty sure I had a keeper ;)
