It was 65° F and sunny today. In late December, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park when the normal temp is usually around 45° F.

That weather made it an easy choice to head to the mountains for a hike.

I haven't hiked the Meigs Creek trail in over ten years. I usually avoid it because the trailhead is one of the most congested areas along the Little River Road. When I go to the mountains, I go to get away from people. It is winter, though, So I thought it might be a good choice.

Today it ended up being a good choice for some mushroom viewing. All of these were along the trail.

Crikey! That little orange one got a bit wobbly on it!! Lol.
Cool shots. You should come to NZ, if you meet anyone in our part of the woods you’ll most likely die from surprise!

Vow - Great shots - especially the last one, great perspective. Also love the 3rd one, colours and dreamy boheh is really nice, but something about the balance/framing bugs me slightly as well as the small straw in the lower left corner
