I went for a walk around town today, trying to get some decent street photos with my E-PL5 and c-mount 25mm lens. I had it stopped down to f/8 to get some DoF as it's really tough to try focusing manual from the hip. Most of the people shots I tried were total failures, but I got a handful of decent/interesting shots. I think the lens did really well considering it's a $30 CCTV lens, though you can see the vignetting coming in even at 1:1 frame.

Awesome shots, you were right down the road from me. I live in Midway Woods, about 2 miles south of the square.

I live in Scottdale near the big Farmer's Market, we like to think we're at least in the Decatur neck of the woods :D . There are more pics in the set on Flickr, I wasn't sure if I should fill the post with images. And thanks for the kind comments :)

ETA: I added the rest to the post. I guess it's OK to post photos in a photo thread :) The flickr link will get bigger shots (50% size as largest).

I took quite a few photos of it, but you don't get the sense of size except for that shot with the woman walking past.
