Hey all, figure there are sure to be some Washington DC area members who could make this and might be interested -- Artomatic 2015 is happening in Hyattsville, MD near the New Carrolton metro station. Open October 30 through December 12.

I’ve taken a room (space 7-108) on the top floor behind the bar with 32 urbex photos printed on aluminum sheets, so if you drop by be sure to take a look! More info at: http://www.artomatic.org/artomatic-2015/

    About Artomatic:

We’re a volunteer-run 501c(3) nonprofit arts festival. We’re best known for hosting amazing, huge unjuried arts festivals in the DC metropolitan area every 12-18 months, usually in a commercial site slated for demolition or newly constructed and not yet occupied.

    Artomatic 2015 has finally arrived!

We are very pleased to announce that Artomatic 2015 is happening this Fall. Artomatic in partnership with Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is presenting a six week long exhibit in Hyattsville featuring all genres of visual, creative and performing art. Professional development workshops, tours, seminars and themed events are also held throughout the exhibition.

Artomatic is well-known for transforming empty spaces into vibrant arts communities that create unique and exciting events for tens of thousands of visitors – all FREE. Anyone can show art at Artomatic – it is non-juried and art is selected on a first-come, first serve basis. It is simply a great way to discover new art!

Every night of the event, thousands of people visit Artomatic to discover new art, grab a drink, listen to music, go on dates, and mingle with the creative community. No matter what kind of creative events you like, you’ll find something to like at Artomatic
