    NICE!! Where was this shot? For about five years I flew in these (along with pigs and chickens).

    Brings back memories.

    Fantastic, what an iconic plane, I can remember Saudia operating several of these in the 1970's, often used to see four or five of them taking off every morning from Riyadh on "bus stop" runs to remote towns and villages and then coming back in the late afternoon.

    A small museum in Hillsboro, Oregon. You flew pigs and chickens too? I can understand chickens but pigs look to be highly un-aerodynamic.:rofl:

    One of the last few remaining. They just eventually wear out, after about a hundred engine overhauls.

    I too used to fly in them, with inebriated Inuit and Cariboo carcass.
