Heading down that way for about four days for a wedding. I'll be staying downtown off Main and close to West End. Looking for suggestions of things to see and do.

I'd highly recommend a visit to the 6th Floor Museum.

If you can get transportation (car) and can afford to spend a whole day, I highly recommend a visit to the Amon Carter Museum in Ft Worth. The Amon Carter is a world class museum with one of the best photographic collections you'll find. Side trips to the Kimbell and the Modern Art Museum of Ft Worth (the three are next door to each other) are also recommended

You might also consider visiting Photographs Do Not Bend (PDNB), a nice art gallery dedicated to photography that is located just a little bit north of the West End, a short trip from where you will be staying. Check out HOME | PDNB GALLERY.

As for things to shoot, November is a bit "grey" in Dallas in November. If you were going to be there in the spring, I would recommend visiting the park along Turtle Creek (not far from central Dallas).
