    Anyone else who is Curta calculator enthusiast or collector?

    ...and I was asking myself if the inscription "SYSTEM CURT HERZSTARK" was printed or engraved. The letters are about 1.4mm in high. So I made this macro picture. I used a macro tube and my Retro Lumax 1:3.5 35mm lens, adapted with a LTM adapter on my GF1.


    The result is easyly observably - and it's more smaller than the engravings on the used lens... (but I think a similar production technique...). The body of the Curta calculator is an anodized aluminium alloy.

    I wish! Those things are expensive. I do have a modest slide rule collection, though.
