I needed to do some business for my Father's estate in Cumberland Valley, PA. It is a quaint little valley with all sorts of wonderful things to look at. Small towns with hanging baskets of flowers on the street and great little homes. Rural roads with farms. Amish country. Surrounded by mountains.

I only stopped a few times for photos because I was in a hurry to get home. It was a long day already. Here are a few shots.

Zion church near Newburg, originally built in the 1700's, rebuilt in 1862

Laughlin Mill in Newville, built in 1763

    A covered bridge

    Amish Boys walking by

    Amish at the store

    Some fields
    field2. field1.

A great place for a drive
Carlisle was very nice and so was Shippensburg too. Maybe next time I can stop and take some photos there too.

I'm jealous. Years ago I spent a lot of time fishing south central PA. Wish I was there now. Thanks for the pictures.
