It's been hot and dry here so I've been putting out water for the birds in the bird bath three or four times a day since what does not evaporate in the 103 F temperature gets splashed out by the birds. But it finally rained today since we got a nice thunderstorm. Standing outside looking for rainbows, I noticed what looked like a dog running across the pasture next to our pasture. It turned out to be a coyote and soon there were two of them creeping around and running some in the field. The images of the coyotes are not that good because they were over a quarter of a mile away to the best estimate I can put on it. If you click inside the slideshow, you can control it and go to a full screen slideshow or see the images separately.

I took all of the images with my G1 and 45-200 lens.
