Creative use of lens flare - show us your pictures !

    Hi,

    yesterday, I shot a picture in the backyard with my Full Spectrum G1 and an IR filter.
    When editing it in LR, I discovered that I had like fired a missile in the backyard :eek::eek:

    Here's that shot :

    It made me think about an older picture shot with the 7-14 Panasonic lens, where I also had lens flare playing an important role. I digged into the archive and found it :smile:

    Not at all sure what I did to get this effect, but the bottom right has a "flower flare" going on...

    This was entirely accidental so it's not exactly creative, but I like the effect. I was using an Olympus OM 100mm f/2.8 with the sun just above the frame. I had forgotten the lens hood and got this result. When I blocked the sun with my hand, the flare disappeared. I was satisfied with this explanation until the little green men showed up.
