Trying a few different lenses this afternoon and this shot came from a Rokkor 58mm wide open. I didn't realize how nuts the bokeh was until I got back home. Took the same shot with a 50mm OM 1.8 and it was no where near this eye-popping.

That is great (at least if you can also get it back in control for other applications by stopping it down a little).

Still working on that. All this is new to me. It's just crazy how much you can alter a scene.

That looks awesome! I love shots like that where the bokeh comes out so colorful. I had one with the Zuiko 70-300mm and EC-14 which I thought came out really cool... It's much creamier in the bokeh because of the newer circular aperture lens, but just as colorful:

No expert on bokeh and joining in the fun.
Here is one that I experimented recently.
    Hope that you like it?
    Shot this with the GH1/PL14-150

    - Did you use extension tube to support such close focus?

Hi Joep, I did not for this pic. The PL14-150mm min working distance is around 9 inches so I can get pretty close. I have a tendency to crop a fair bit as well.
    Thanks for viewing.

cheers and have a nice day

Love the colors in those pics. I wish my subject had that much contrast.
