So I just got back from a great trip to New Orleans for their comic book convention. Knowing that I had a glamour shoot booked, I struggled on whether to bring my Canon 5D setup along with my micro 4/3rds (OMD, G3, EPM-1). That would at least double, if not triple, my load to pack/bring. At the last minute, decided to leave my 5D + grip + lenses at home, and put all my faith in the OMD as my main. And I'm glad I did; it gave me more confidence to travel light and exclusively with the OMD for future trips. On the plane to New Orleans, 14-42 kit lens: {} One of the shots of my glamour shoot, used the 60mm macro lens for this: {} I've got tons of other pics, but it will take me a while to go through them all...hope you enjoy.
Since I don't work in an office, I automatically had to open your NSFW thread! Nice shot and pretty model!
Nice shot. Lighting setup? Looks like a mix of ambient room light with a light directly overhead as rim light, and a softbox of some sort camera left? What flash(es) and how did you trigger?
Ambient mixed with flash: Main light is FL50R speedlight into shoot-through umbrella, camera left. Off camera to the right is an assistant holding another speedlight (Yongnuo YN560) with a Honl grid on it. I triggered with Cybersyncs.
Yep, don't worry, got some of those too! Will put up as soon as processed! Jonathan: same thing, don't worry Thanks to the rest!
Using either NSFW or New Orleans in a paragraph makes the other redundant. Some things in life are a given.
Got a slew of photos of Bourbon St! Love it..such a lively and colorful atmosphere! Before I get to those, here are a few more: These were taken with my E-PM1 and Panny 14mm prime: {} {} {}
It made me laugh because of the contrast between the 2 pictures. I enjoy the lighting on the girl. I like how something simple can make the image look 10 times better. I also had an eyeful walking down Burbourn St. at night, especially in relation to beads thrown from the railings.
