Cosmicar Pentax 16mm f/1.4

    I received it yesterday. Very well built, short focus distance, clean, vignettes terribly, love to play with it.

    That looks like a full 4/3 frame shot to me…

    It's pretty hard to find a wide c-mount (assuming that this is a c-mount), but I just like the look of the sharp center/soft and dark corners. Especially for portraits. And a nice picture also :)

    The lens is C-mount as you said. It really vignettes badly, but it has something.

    I would leave it as is. In fact, you should do a series like that... You may be surprised what you could do with that. With the right processing, the images could be very dreamy...

    the vignette is quite heavy

    but not as bad as my Cosmicar 8mm f1.5


    here's my Cosmicar 8.5mm f1.5 for comparison
